We are proud to announce that R&D together with Jason Hickel, Giorgos Kallis and Julia Steinberger receives one of the European Research Council’s €10M Synergy Grants.
The European Research Council, set up by the European Union in 2007, is the premiere European funding organisation for excellent frontier research. Every year, it selects and funds the very best, creative researchers of any nationality and age, to run projects based in Europe.
This grant will enable more research on degrowth, so that we can contribute knowledge to a socio-ecological transformation towards a just future. Concretely, we will develop a Post-Growth Deal that explores how to radically reduce energy and resource use while combating poverty and envisioning a good life for all.
