Summer school

The Degrowth Summer School started in 2014 and since then, has brought together academics, students, practitioners, artists, activists and community organizers to collectively learn and debate about topics related to degrowth and environmental justice. The school is organized by Research & Degrowth (R&D) and customarily took place over two weeks in Barcelona and a rural part of Catalonia. In the first week, the school collaborated with ICTA-UAB and different community projects in Barcelona. In the second week, the school moved to Cerbère, France, and was hosted by the project Can Decreix, a place to experiment and reflect about degrowth in practice.
