Short Bio
Filka Sekulova is a PhD student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a Master’s degree in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Bachelor degrees in Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam and in Psychology at the Sofia University Sv. Kliment Ohridski. Presently her research centres around the economics of climate change, well-being, and degrowth.Previous work of hers includes conducting social cost benefit analysis of ski resorts in Bulgarian protected territories and doing research on the implications of World Bank policies and financial infrastructure.
Research Interests: climate change economics, happiness and well-being, ski-resorts, degrowth, money & finance, trade.
